Genealogy

I've been working on my genealogy lately, I don'tknow why I didn't join Ancestry.com before! It's so great! I have found cousins researching the same family, and I have found information on people that I had been stuck on. I've linked up with people who have given me new directions in my research. I've learned a lot about my scottish ancestors, which aren't that far back, my great grandfather, John Nelson Beveridge, came to America when he was 6 in 1881. I've learned a lot about our clan. I've been on a quest to find our tartan, which has gotten me nowhere, it looks as though I may have to find someone to hand weave it for me. Any ideas? Yeah, me neither.

I'm working on a needlepoint of my girl's family crest, it may take a while. I am also working on an Aran sweater for her, that she designed from photos of Aran stitches. It's an untraditional one, but I think it's going to be great, it's a beautiful turquiose.

Yule scarves and pillowcase

Here are 5 scarves I did for Yule, different yarns, but basically the same, and AJ's pillowcase. Aj loves hot pink more than anything in the world. I'll get around to posting more soon, I've just been under the weather lately.

Wow it's 2007 already!

I've been working on a crocheted scrap rug for the last few days. Other than that I've been working on my genealogy. Haven't done much else, just coming down from the excitement of the holidays. I still need to upload pics of the things I knitted for Yule. Boy now that I think about it, I've been really lazy lately.

I'll get it done soon, I promise.
