knitting at work

My magick loop sox, I cast them on right before I started my shift, and this is how far I got in one 8 hour shift at the plastics factory where I work!

I finished the blue ones I have been working on, now gotta get off my butt and weave in the ends and take a pic of them.

Now I am off to job #2, at Sheetz for the midnight shift, I just had to share how much I got done tonight!

Thurston Classic Balloons

Alcohol induced blogging, I would not recommend trying it yourself. Forgive that last post, I was slightly tipsy and answering my ex's poem Too, about our relationship.

On a knitting note, I am on the ribbing of the blue socks! YEAH! Then I have a few other things to get done before I pat myself on the back. I swear I get more knitting done at work than at home. Of course when I am at home I am usually with the munchkins. We set up the pool yesterday, an 18 ft, 4 ft deep pool is empty in the middle of our backyard, what fun!

While we were putting it up we got to see the hot air balloons go over. The Thurston Classic is this weekend here in Meadville, and the balloons go right over our house! That was cool.

Enough

I didn't spend enough time with her
I didn't do enough for her
I didn't understand enough about her addictions
I didn't listen enough to her problems (and still don't)
I didn't let her visit her "friends" enough (you know, the ones she drank and got high with)
I didn't let her visit her family enough (between 10 PM and 3 AM, when do you visit your folks?)
I didn't have a high enough libido
I didn't have a low enough libido (it depended on the day)
I didn't clean enough
I didn't work enough
I didn't talk enough
I didn't do enough for her health care (I just went to every Dr. appt. and got her scripts., ect.)
I didn't go out enough
I didn't stay home enough (once again, depends on the day)
I didn't give her enough
I didn't love her enough
And I didn't care enough, and the list goes on, for f*cking ever, because I am a rotten human being who doesn't deserve to live because I made my wife so miserable that she had no choice but to screw Ember just to get me to let her leave me!

Blue socks

I made a great discovery last night at work, if I am on an easy machine I can knit at work! I work in a plastics manufacturing company, we make all sorts of plastic things, like ladder pieces, flyswatters, you name it. Last night I was on one of the ones that you get to basically sit and watch the machine and put what comes out in a box. I was knitting most of the night, I got about an inch on the blue socks I was working on at the beach. They are toe ups, the first is done and the second is close, I just have a little bit of leg and ribbing to go!
