Sometimes life sucks

My girl and I are breaking up. After 3 1/2 years of being together we just can't make it work anymore right now. I am heartbroken to say the least. I hope we can make it as friends, the kids deserve that, for us to be able to be friendly and still work together to make decisions about their care. Our 6 yr old, Sean, is taking it hard, he is autistic and just can't handle changes.

I need to make some positive changes in my life. For one, I need to get a life, other than just the kids. Not that the kids aren't wonderful, but they are the only thing in my life, them and my work with Little Bit of Heart. I need to do some stuff for me.

I have made a start on that. I went to the Zone, and met some great people who I hope to become good friends with. One has made a pretty lasting impression already that we'll be pretty close. That's cool, I need some friends.

I haven't been knitting in the last little while, but this week I've had the sewing machine pretty busy. I've made a laundry basket full of little clothes and quilts and things for LBoH. I'll post pictures of stuff when I get back from taking the kids to school.
